ROWDY RIDE FOR YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH

Every year, the Barrie Construction Association hosts an annual Ride for Charity; a motorcycle ride organized by the generous members of the BCA.

The Ride will be supporting Youth Mental Health.  Last year, $12,000.00 was raised for the local chapter of the Canadian Association for Mental Health.

This year’s ride will take place on Saturday June 21st starting at the Barrie Construction Association office.  Riders will enjoy a 4 hour trip (approx.) through the Muskoka region ending at Sunbelt Rentals, 3 Greco Court in Collingwood.  Optional overnight accommodations have been arranged at Blue Mountain Resort. Group rate is available until May 22. Please click here to reserve.

Free T-shirts are handed out on registration day.

Registration begins at 8am with the ride beginning at 9am.

Event Cancelled

Due to changing weather conditions, the Rowdy Ride is cancelled. A rain date will not be scheduled for this year.  We will host the event in 2026.  For anyone who has pre-registered, your fee will be refunded.  Any donations received so far we will be sent to CMHA on your behalf.

Rob Desroches was a long time supporter of the Ride.  He helped raise thousands of dollars for cancer research.  He participated in the Ride every year and always brought the “fun” to every event.

Rob’s nickname was Rowdy.  We use his name for the Ride to honour him and the support he gave over the years.

Pre-registration is available online using the button on the right.  You can share the page with friends/family/colleagues to collect donations. If you experience any difficulty using the online form or collecting donations online, please contact info@barrieca.com.
