COVID-19 WORKPLACE SAFETY PLAN REQUIREMENTS

Dear IHSA Stakeholder,

As you are aware, as of November 23, 2020,Toronto and Peel public health regions have been moved to Lockdown or Grey status.

An amendment has been made to O. Reg 82/20 Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020 that changes the rules for areas of Ontario that are classified as being in Lockdown or Grey Status https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/200082.

All businesses are encouraged to have a COVID-19 Workplace Safety Plan.
Businesses in certain sectors that are in yellow, orange or red zones under the COVID-19 response framework are required to have a safety plan and ALL business in Stage One that remain open are required to have a COVID-19 Workplace Safety Plan in place by November 30th.
