Flooring Contractor specializing in Maple and Rubber Sport Flooring Installation
PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Site Inspections
Scheduling Installation crews
• Labour and Material estimating for on-site change orders
• Weekly time sheet review for Installation staff
• Progress Reports for job tracking and billing
• Support and schedule review with field staff
• Specification and Drawing review prior to mobilization on site
• Schedule development to support substantial completion expectations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of all aspects of New Construction and Renovation construction to provide direction to subtrades and onsite Installation Technicians
• Manage site meetings and report to Owners, General Contractors and Architects
• Strong understanding of Project Management methodology including tools and metrics used to evaluate project performance
• Blueprint and specification reading/writing ability
• Experience using Sage 300 CRE
• Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects concurrently
• Effectively identify and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills by delegating and providing clear direction to other team members
QUALIFICATIONS
• Post-secondary education (CET, Architectural Technologist accreditation)
• Commercial project management experience is an asset
• Working knowledge of concrete construction is an asset
Job Types: Temporary position with opportunity to become permanent full time.
