Job Location: Training Ontario-wide – Head Office in Barrie
Terms of Employment: Full Time
Wage: $55,000 – $60,000 per annum, based on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:
• As our brand ambassador, you will be the face of IST; you’ll ensure quality and consistency in the delivery of our training programs
• Engage the client in a variety of ways to foster the creation and growth of their internal safety culture
• Nerding out; you’ll provide ongoing technical safety advice, guidance, and coaching where necessary
• Collaborating with the Training Manager, updating existing and developing new training programs and internal practice
What You Bring:
• You are a professional operator; with grass roots experience operating equipment
• CPO Certified; a fully certified JHSC member is preferred
• Boots on the ground experience; experience in manufacturing and/or construction environment preferred
• Interpersonal intelligence; AKA excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A raconteur extraordinaire; otherwise known as advanced presentation and written skills
• Bilingual – French and English, is an asset
• Critical thinking skills; you can assess situations and problem-solve for the most effective resolution for all parties involved
• Exposure to adult learning principles is an asset
• Someone who loves technology; excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and adept at minor troubleshooting
• Spotless driving record; must have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
