Job Description
Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Work ensures safe and effi cient power distribution while adhering to electrical codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
■ Electrical Installation – Laying out, assembling, and connecting wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
■ Troubleshooting & Repairs – Diagnosing faults and ensuring electrical systems operate safely.
■ Blueprint Interpretation – Reading and following electrical plans and specifications.
■ Safety & Compliance – Ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
■ Conduit & Raceway Installation – Measuring, cutting, and installing conduits for electrical wiring.
■ Testing & Verification – Inspecting and testing electrical components to ensure proper functionality.
Qualifications & Training:
■ Completion of a 9,000-hour apprenticeship, including on-the-job and in-school training
■ Certification through the Ontario College of Trades
■ Knowledge of equipment controls and 3 phase generators an asset
■ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
■ Clear Driver’s Abstract
Job Information
■ Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work as needed
■ Guaranteed 40 hours per week
■ Overtime available
■ $40-50/hour depending on experience
